The resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth stands or falls with the Christian faith because it is the Central theme of Christianity.

He explained further that the true reason behind the celebration of X?mas is the birth of Christ and was raised from the dead after dying on the cross for our sins and making it possible for us to have eternal life. Without the resurrection, the messianic and kingly position of Jesus could not be believably established, and the power of Jesus as well as the effect of sin would not have been broken. Furthermore, all believers would still remain in their sins, precisely when they were before they first heard of Jesus Name he stressed.

In an interview with weekly observer in Accra, Apostle Amoako-Atta said in the power of the resurrection, God destroyed and overcame sin and evil. It is sad to say that the situation is not quite different in Ghana today which has over 60% of its population to be Christians.

Apostle Amoako-Atta lamented that Ghana and surrounding countries abound with charlatan-patrons who do not care about immoral acts, fraudulent behavior, unethical conducts and the giving of a false prophecies.

He noted that faith thus compels, as Christians and as a church to embark upon constructive engagement with the government and the political leadership to promote growth and sustainable development.

The country is confronted with corruption, armed robbery, intolerant, drug abuse, ritual murders and greed.

He commend President John Dramani Mahama for its bold decision in instituting measures to investigate the judgment debt payment saga which has engaged the attention of the country for some time now. This more is properly handled, would restore the confidence of the ordinary citizen in the governance process.

The message of X?Mas which proclaim also challenges head on those in Ghana society who espouse political violence, criminal and the violence of corrupt exploitation.
