The purpose of the gathering was to foster unity, ensure closing of ranks among party members for a clean parliamentary primary and ultimately guarantee NPP’s victory in the 2016 general elections.

New Picture (2)This means, the long awaited primaries to elect an MP candidate for the 2016 General Elections of which was suspended indefinitely because of the chaos, could take place soon if all things be equal.

Chaos in the Ablekuma West Constituency has disenabled it to hold its parliamentary primaries since June 13th 2015, when the party held its primaries for most constituencies in the country.

Meanwhile, people danced their hearts out, sang to melodious tunes of Ghanaian music during the party held last weekas if nothing had happened, a situation which people considered as seem to be an end in sight to all the troubles.

The likes of Ken Kuranchie, Akua Pokua, MP for Tano North, Freda Prempeh, Yaw Frimpong Addo, MP Manso Adubia and other NPP communicators drummed home the need for members to do away with disunity and project NPP to victory with a message in the impending elections.

Mrs. Ursula Ekuful, for her part asked the constituents to bury their differences and work hard to ensure the victory of NPP and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in the 2016 General Elections.

In order to achieve that, she appealed to them to go back to having the pooling station meetings as a way of strategizing for NPP’s victory in Ablekuma West Constituency and the Presidency as well.

According to her, Ghanaians have ‘terribly suffered under the seven year reign of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), hence the need for a house to house campaign, to convince people to buy the NPP ideology of making Ghana a better place for its citizens.

Ursula Owusu, pointed to some developmental projects in the constituency including four schools which she noted became to being from the power of her advocacy, adding more may follow if she and the NPP are voted back to power.

She counseled party members to halt the unnecessary fights among themselves, rather take it to the NDC.
She revealed her next move as having another end of year party for the rest of the community and sell the NPP message to them.
