After failing to find the net in the 2-0 defeat to Mali’s Djoliba in the Caf Champions League initial leg on Saturday, URA hit six past lower tier side Luwero United at Kasana for a 6-2 score line as they continued their pursuit for a League and Cup double. Ali Moses Feni and Robert Ssentongo netted a brace each before a Manco Kaweesa penalty and Benson Ociti strike completed the rout.

Luwero had surprised Alex Isabirye’s outfit with a 2-1 lead through Hassan Katumba and Tony Kamulegeya.

Maroons also kept their hopes of silverware alive as they recovered from the league defeat to SC Villa to dismiss lower division outfit Aurum Roses 2-0 at Luzira.

Martin Mpuga and George Abege, netting his 10th goal of the season, scored for Maroons.

In the all- Super League Uganda Cup clash, Masaka brought Victors back to earth with a 1-0 victory following the visitors’ triumph over Bunnamwaya in the league last week.

Rashid Kyambadde’s lone goal was enough to hand Kefa Kisala’s Masaka a slot in the last eight.

In the two Super League games, Hoima-Busia registered their second win in 11 games as they continued bottom side Utoda’s search for their first season victory.
