Nambale MP John Bunyasi (pictured), also chairman of the Western Parliamentary Caucus, called on the 42 legislators from the region to avoid politics that only serves to divide them.

?Unless we engage positively with the Government, we cannot access over Sh1.3 trillion that it has set aside for development,? said Mr Bunyasi.

?No one single MP can engage the Government and succeed to access this money.?

He dismissed those claiming the caucus has joined Jubilee saying their involvement with the Government is to benefit the citizens.

?There are those who say the caucus is joining Jubilee.

?That is not the case,? he further said.

Bunyasi said the MPs in the caucus must bargain for their share from the Government by working with President Uhuru Kenyatta who controls Sh1.8 trillion at the National Treasury.
