All attention would be shifted to the Queens land, London, beginning July 27 to August 12 when the city hosts the rest of the world for this year’s Olympic Games.

And  with 99 days to go, the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), African  Origin Travels and Sports Tourism  and UKBA are firming up preparations to ensure smooth travel arrangements for prospective travelers.

Already, African Origin Travels has rolled out programs to ensure that sports fans secure Games tickets, visas and a good package  for the  sporting events.

African Origin Executive Director Samson Deen has pointed out in a telephone interview that “the capital is ready for the biggest lifetime sporting event, and Britain has purposed to showcase that they are second to none when it comes to sports.”

African Origin Travels, the Official Ticket Reseller of the forthcoming event, has put proper travel arrangements in place to ensure that the majority of sports fans witness the lifetime event.

“It’s a lifetime experience, and we want to make sure that most Ghanaians with genuine travel documents are given the opportunity to travel to the UK,” the African Origin Travels chief added.

Ghana would be taking part in boxing, athletics and disabled sports among others.
