THE United Cadres Front of Ghana (UCF-Ghana) salute all cadres and patriots of the Republic of Ghana in commemoration of the June 19 event of 1983 when cadres of the Revolution quelled military insurgence against the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) administration.

We particularly salute those who laid down their lives for ensuring that the tenets of probity and accountability of the Revolution went on and continued to be the building blocks of our democratic practices today.

We also salute those cadres who are still alive with scars of the event, and continue to lead the crusade against all forms of oppression and subjugation in our national dispensation.

The United Cadres Front Ghana, wish to use the occasion to remind particularly members and sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that, unity of purpose and the resolve to get back to the basis of the Founding Fathers of the Party are the only principles that can propel the NDC back to power in the near future.

As participants of the sacrifices of the gallant soldiers and civilians who laid down their lives and expended their youthful days to stop the decay that engulfed the country in those heady days, we also wish to remind Ghanaians in general that, our destiny laid in the hands of their resolve to resist tendencies of Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration which has variously shown open signs of high-handedness, ineptitude, insensitivity and nepotism in appointments and callous dismissals of innocent civil and public servants who are perceived to be members of the NDC. These are dangerous times that are most likely to disturb national peace and security.

We wish all cadres well. ALUTA CONTINUA!
