The JAVSALYNN Foundation, a body committed to the renaissance of education in Ghana has opened its ultra modern Secretariat in Accra with a special focus towards resourcing and transforming street youth into valuable assets for national development.

In a welcome address, a Director of the Javsalynn foundation Mr Gideon Aryeequaye announced the introduction of an Oversea Pre-University Entrance Program in addition to its already existing flagship Oversea Universities Entrance Program.

The foundation has over the years provided higher educational opportunities to the several Ghanaian youth across the world through its overseas University project.

Mr Aryeequaye assured of the effective collaboration of foundation and its partners to ensure prompt transfer of remittances for beneficiaries of the Overseas Programme.

This according to him would guarantee the security, comfort and uninterrupted academic work.? He noted that greater numbers of brilliant youth from poor backgrounds are in dye need of lucrative jobs to make life worth living.

The Javsalynn Foundation he said is committed to provide opportunity for them to realize their God given potential through the Pre- Overseas University Entrance Programme.

The foundation in collaboration with the West African Examinations Council, would be conducting its maiden Overseas Pre-University Entrances Examination in Ghana on Saturday 14th June, 2014. The Youth with qualification in Basic or Vocational Education, the physically challenged and matured candidate who are 25 years and above are qualified to register for the examination.

Successful applicants would gain admission to pursue the Pre- University entrance and subsequently enroll for the degree programmes to study courses of their choice at the expense of the foundation.

It is the hope of Javsalynn to provide the youth with employable knowledge and skills needed for the ready absorption into the job market and self employable.

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Mr Ras Mubarak pledged his outfit?s commitment to advocate on behalf of the youth of Ghana for government to provide a congenial environment for the youth to operate because the future productivity and growth of the nation depends on the youth.

According to him, the nation has the duty to make the youth job providers rather than job seekers.

The official opening of the Secretariat was performed by the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Dr Nuhu Sharubutu who prayed for the success of foundations work.

The ceremony was chaired by the Mayor of Accra Dr Alfred Oko Vanderpujie and graced by the Paramount Chief of the Gbi Traditional area, Togbega Gabusu.
