knii1Just got back from Kingston- Jamaica, the ?True Feelings? launch on Thursday 29thMay was a success at the Red Bones Blues Caf?, special thanks to Grace Kennedy Foods, Tropical Rhythms, Don Green?s Sunsplash Productions and Deluge Entertainment for the support.

Here?s what happened on the night?

The launch took off at 8pm with DMetz as the opening act, a fast upcoming Jamaican dancehall lyricist.

By 9.30pm I was on stage dressed in an all black tunic feeling honored to be backed by the legendary drummer, Desi Jones and his 7 member band. Red Bones Blues Caf? was filled to capacity. Kim on backing vocals, Dale on bass guitar , Robert Brownie on lead guitar, Chris on Keyboards and backing vocals, Tucko on Keyboards.

I started my set with ?Big trees? followed by ?Whats up? with G Blunt representing to deliver his ragga verse. Then we performed ?House of Pain?, ?When you go Away?, ?Loving you? with Annakim Myers but which originally features Cherine Anderson on the album. All these songs were well received but got even better when Queen Ifrica joined me on the stage for ?Baby Take Good Care?. The set ended with ?Can?t Give Up? and ?Corruption? on the Johnny Blaze riddim by Rebel Liberation Sounds, watch out for the hot video pretty soon directed by Stanley Adjetey (Take2 Films).

Everything ended with an album signing and photograph session with newly won Jamaican fans. The MC for the night was Mikey Bennett, who produced most of the songs on the album.

The album will be in digital stores soon distributed by VP Records, date to be announced.
