Kenyan music lovers are in for an entertainment treat this weekend as top African artistes prepare for a pan-African music extravaganza to be held Nairobi?s City Stadium. The high profile concert, to be held on Saturday, will bring the largest pan-African youth football tournament to an end following the final game of the Airtel Rising Stars Championship .

The concert will begin at 2 p.m. and plans to boast some of the continent?s most loved artistes including Nigerian artist 2face, Tanzanian rapper AY, Congolese crooner Papa Wemba and Kenyan gospel artist Daddy Owen.

The Championship ? which kicked off on Monday ? is part of the Airtel Rising Stars program, a soccer talent initiative that has focused on identifying and nurturing soccer talent from the grassroots onto a national stage. It will culminate in an invite-only party at Nairobi?s prestigious Carnivore nightclub celebrating the launch of 2face?s most soulful? album yet: Away and Beyond.
