Organizers of anti corruption demonstration to be led by the Progressive People?s Party( PPP) say, they will not be perturbed if few people show up for the protest march.

The party will tomorrow hold its second in the series of anti corruption demonstrations in Kumasi.

It is part of a nationwide protest to highlight what they describe as high corruption and bad economic governance in Ghana.

In October they staged a demonstration in Accra, which saw low patronage from the public, but convener for the PPP Anti-Corruption Campaign Coalition, William Dowokpor says tomorrow will not be about the numbers but the message.

“We are not interested in numbers at all, we are interested in reforms that must take place. It’s about the message and not the numbers”, Mr. Dowokpor told?Joy News, Friday, November 22.

The protest march will begin from the Prempeh Assembly Hall area through certain principal streets and end up at the PPP court yard, where the convener noted, protesters?will be addressed?on the issues.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dowokpor indicated that they have cleared issues?with the police and the Ashanti regional command has confirmed their preparedness to come along.

“There is no issue with police this time”, he asserted.
