Three people were stabbed to death in one of Windhoek’s high density suburbs on Saturday, Namibian police said.
The three are part of 21 others who died in road accidents, suicides and in mysterious circumstances across Namibia last week.
During a briefing in the capital Windhoek Monday, police said two of the stabbings involved gangs. One incident involved a vendor who was stabbed in Katutura after demanding that a gang of three should pay for a loaf of bread they had taken from his stall.
In another incident, a gang of four stabbed a 23-year-old man and fled the scene, while another 23-year-old man was stabbed after a bar brawl. Enditem
