The event, an outdoor talents festival designed for school children as part of their extra curriculum activities, was held at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park over the weekend.

More than 8,000 children attended the event and many participated in several exciting activities including live band performances, Poetry recitals, Cultural display, Choreography and Formation Dance, Drumming and News Presentation.

Winners in the various competitions went home with mouthwatering prizes including boxes of Indomie, exercise books and souvenirs.

Madam Agnes Botchway, Events Manager at Indomie, said the holistic growth and development of children was a priority to the company.

She said the company, which placed 3rd in the Ghana Club 100 rankings, has committed itself to continue to use its products and resources to support the proper development of children.

Mr Nathaniel Ekow Morrison, Chief Executive of Global Multimedia Consult, organisers of the Indomie GIFTAFEST, said the event was intended to unearth talents in the young ones.

It was also intended to inspire, motivate, challenge and invigorate them to develop those talents while taking their education seriously.

The children at the event were feted with the nutritious sweet and crunchy Minimie Chinchin, amidst a lot of funfair.

Side attractions included performances by Mr Banana, a clown, bouncy castles, trampolines, face paintings, a dance party, musical show, comedy and a lucky dip.
