The suspect, Ahmed Abubakari alias Fuseini Seidu, together with two others, who are currently at large, allegedly stormed a house and robbed the occupants of various items at gun-point.

?The armed robbers used the butt of the guns they were wielding to hit the victims and ordered them to hand over all their monies and valuables,? she stated.

Mr. Abekah, who was in another room, was awoken by the noise from the workers? room.

He immediately contacted the regional police information room and a team of police was dispatched to the area.

The Police apprehended Ahmed Abubakari alias Fusieni Seidu but his other accomplices managed to escape upon seeing the police.

Upon his arrest, he gave his name as Ahmed Aubakari but the police later realized that he was also called Fuseini Seidu upon investigations.

The suspect, according to police, would be arraigned before court after investigations.

The command is appealing to the public to provide information that would lead to the arrest of the other suspected armed robbers.

Police further advised general public to be security conscious, especially during the yuletide.

?People should not to leave their keys at places that could easily be traced like under door mats, flower pots or anywhere in the balcony when they are going out.

?They should leave it with a neighbor who is trustworthy and ask him/her to be on the lookout for strangers or suspicious characters who will be loitering around their houses.?
