The Business Year (TBY), a leading global media and research firm, has signed a partnership agreement with the Republic of Ghana’s Ministry of Information to cooperate on the publication of The Business Year: Ghana 2018, which will provide comprehensive and relevant research on business opportunities in Ghana.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Minister of Information and Spokesperson for the Presidency in Ghana, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, and TBY Country Manager for Ghana, Florencia Solano, in Accra.

TBY will act as a reference point for global investors and a vehicle to showcase the progressive and holistic economic agenda of the country. Given the fresh wave of enthusiasm brought by the new government, the publication will provide local and foreign investors with detailed insights pertaining to the country’s business environment.

The current Minister of Information, nominated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2016, will have the key role of communicating government development policies and programs to the public. In this sense, TBY will seek to support the Minister by releasing strategic communications, interviews, analyses, and business news through its digital and print platforms to a global audience.

The positive reception of the previous annual publication on Ghana and the high demand for information about the country has encouraged TBY to produce a second edition. The Business Year: Ghana 2018 will feature interviews with more than 100 leaders from both the public and private sectors, providing direct insights into market growth and trends. TBY’s Ghana team will comprise Florencia Solano as a Country Manager and Gabriele de Leva as a Country Editor.

The new edition will be published in the first quarter of 2018, and will feature insights from political and business leaders within the country as well as contributions from foreign dignitaries. Among the main experts will be representatives of financial institutions, international corporations, private investors, accountancy firms, industrial conglomerates, and governmental organizations. The publication will be widely distributed both locally and internationally at major economic conferences, investment forums, and events. Furthermore, through several digital platforms, the Ghana publication will reach even more domestic and international members of the business community.
