Officials getting ready for the Tasty Tom raffle draw

OLAM Ghana, producers of Tasty Tom range of products, has held its initial customer loyalty draws in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.

Some 21 lucky customers, who patronized the company’s range of assorted products including pasta, palm oil, tomato paste and biscuits, and entered the draw received cash rewards to the sum of GH¢10,000.

Paulina Owusu of Kojokrom, Takoradi in the Western region, won the topmost prize of GH¢5,000.

The second prize winners, Agyeiwaa Rebecca of Drobo in the Brong Ahafo region and Cynthia of Agbogbloshie in Accra both received GH¢1,000 each.

Three customers received GH¢500 each for placing third while 15 others received GH¢100 each for placing fourth.

An excited Paulina, who was reached on phone by officials of Tasty Tom to inform her of the good news, could not hide her joy, as she completely went silent and only managed to scream.

Later, she added that the GH¢5,000 will come in handy to support her child’s university education.

“This will go a long way to help me. I am lost for words but all I can say is that this money is going to help me realize the dream of sending my son to the university,” she said.

An official of OLAM’s PFB division, who witnessed the raffle, said the company is committed to improving the lives of its customers.

“At OLAM, our goal is to go the extra mile to satisfy our customers. We have just shown how committed we are to this goal,” he said.

Tagged the “Buy and Win” promotion, the loyalty draw was formed part of the company’s plans to give back to the society.

It was held from February-March, and was largely targeted at Tasty Tom’s loyal retailers spread across the country.

The second and final draw will be held next month in Accra.
