Journalists who went round the city of Abuja yesterday saw thousands of gaily dressed cheerful looking youths adorning colourful TAN t-shirts distributing fliers along major streets with frenzy and passion which signposted their belief in the dream to have President Jonathan re-elected in 2015. Some of the T-shirts bore the inscription, “I love GEJ”, “2015: No vacancy in Aso Rock”, Jonathan is salt of Nigeria’s Unity”.

At the popular Eagles Square venue of the historic rally, the visibly untiring advocacy crew was seen putting final touches to its beautification, decoration and stage while prominent acts, Musicians and comedians were also seen setting up their stage ahead of todays event. All major hotels in the FCT were reportedly fully booked as at the beginning of the week and have been turning back guests since then.

A resident of the FCT, Mallam Ibrahim Kachalla told journalists that the political advocacy group has taken over the air waves and that little children and adults now sing and dance to the tune of the well articulated jingles of TAN, even in their sleep.

TAN’s Director of Operations, Benchuks Nwosu said while speaking with journalists at the corporate headquarter of the advocacy group said that all the machinery have been mobilized toward an hitch free outing.

Nwosu thanked all Nigerians, corporate organizations and political parties that have identified with the TAN vision, which he noted has since translated into an unprecedented movement turn out in all the earlier zonal rallies which saw over twelve million individuals signing up for the president who according to him has given a new definition to governance and leadership.

He pointed out that with the daily rise in the number of people signing up for the president, it is obvious that the 2015 presidential election will go in favor of Dr Jonathan not minding the antics of oppositions within and without.
