Mrs Lawrencia Dakurah Abakissi, Proprietress of the Centre, who gave the assurance, said the school’s vision is to contribute to the formation of children by moulding them into responsible adults.

She was speaking during the graduation of 40 pupils who completed their kindergarten education, and are progressing to class one.

Mrs Dakurah Abakissi said the school is not only building strong educational background for children but also ensuring high moral upbringing necessary for a successful life.

Saint John of the Cross Educational Centre, which started in 2009, boasts of a well-resourced computer laboratory amongst other facilities to make learning fun for children.

Mrs Dakurah Abakissi said Management of the school is working to expand into a senior high school.

The Tamale Metropolitan Director of Education, whose speech was read on his behalf, urged parents to partner with schools to deliver quality education for their children.

Mr Dorzie Derek, Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association of the Centre commended the authorities of the school for their hard work, which is yielding results in the lives of the pupils.
