The New Juaben Municipal Deputy Director of Education Mad. Victoria Obeng during the 6th graduation and 10th anniversary ceremony for Grace Child Academy, she indicated that private teachers should ensure that they take advantage of the in-service training and workshops organized by the Municipal Education Directorate to update their knowledge and skills.

She added that quality education means imparting knowledge of high standard of excellence to someone and the growth of the nation depends largely on the education of its citizens because education is a holistic enterprise children are exposed to various influences, saying that ?it is therefore appropriate to remind all stakeholders to continually help children to explore, discover their skills and be able to unravel their talents in order to face the future with ease, in the new Juaben Municipality we have about one hundred private schools, which grace child academy is among the best.?

Mad. Victoria pleads with parents to take absolute control of their wards and provide all their needs, visit their children frequently at school and be role models to their children. She finally advice the Proprietress of the school never to compromise with quality of education delivery.

Taking her turn the Proprietress of Grace Child Academy Mad. Esther Anane emphasized that the quality of schooling on the distribution of skills and income will become apparent some years, and for that reason Grace Child Academy was established.

The school which was established on the 8th of September 2003 with eight children has experienced a steady growth of two hundred and seventy six pupils.

She said, the success was as result of the dedicative efforts of teaching staffs, administrative staffs and the parents? teachers association.

She highlighted some major challenges confronting the school as, poor drainage system and lack of library and computer laboratory. She appealed to parents, philanthropists and financial institutions to come to the aid of the school.

The Head pastor of Grace Outreach church in Koforidua Rev. Dr. George Sunu elaborated that children are gifts from God, and it is the responsibility of parents to take care of what God has given them.
