The project, which was launched in June 2011 by China Gezhouba Group Ltd (CGGC) at a cost of 273 million U.S. dollars and funded mainly by China Exim Bank in the form of preferential buyer's credit, has been completed by 99% . The project will produce 40 MGD of water at its full capacity by Feb. 2015, according to Ding Tao, the managing director of the Ghana Branch of CGGC. (Xinhua/Lin Xiaowei)
