The Supreme Court will this morning resume sitting on a motion seeking further clarification on an earlier judgment of the court on the voters’ register.

The court at its last sitting last week ordered the EC to provide it with details of individuals who registered with the NHIS Card for the 2012 general elections.

The EC complied with the order on Wednesday, supplying the court with the list.

The apex court is today expected to give further direction towards ensuring a clean register before the polls.

Pressure group, Let My Vote Count Alliance, says it doubts the EC can be accurate with the details of the NHIS Card registrants.

Meanwhile, Starr News Sources say the total number of voters on the electoral roll who registered with the NHIS card stands at around 56,000.
