Confirming to Adom FM Monday morning, Deputy Communication Director, Sammy Awuku said he received the information Sunday evening that some supporters had started gathering at the party?s head office in Accra.

According to him, it was obvious they were there to ?protest? the summon of their General Secretary Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (Sir John) and member of communications team Hopeson Adorye.

?From all indications the supporters are from the various regions in the country,? Mr. Awuku said.

The two contemnors were summoned last Friday to appear before the supreme court on Wednesday 14th August, 2013 for making statements deemed contemptuous to the outfit of the court.
