Sunyani Reg. Hospital Receives Five Births for January 1

Brong-Ahafo Regional Hospital in Sunyani recorded five births in the early hours of New Year.

The babies – three males and two females are in good condition, says Madam Margaret Afosa-Kudom, a Senior Supervisor of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the Hospital.

She told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview on Tuesday that two of the babies were born through Caesarean Section (CS) and they were all in good condition.

Madam Afosa-Kudom advised pregnant women to eat nutritious food and visit antenatal clinics regular to protect themselves and their unborn babies.
