Hundreds of people were again render homeless in Oko ?suurulere local government as the stormy winds which accompanied the early rain wrecked serious havoc in the area.

The rainstorm which started around 6 pm on Tuesday destroyed many houses in the community.

A member of the National Assembly Hon Dokun Segun Odebunmi who visited the affected location in the community sympathises with the victims and promised to contact the National Emergency Management Authority NEMA for necessary action.

In a similar development the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi has promise to assist victims of the rainstorm in Oyo community and pledge to give necessary assistance for quick recovery from their loss

Apart from Oko and Oyo, some community in suurulere local government, Ogbomoso, Oke Ogun and ibarapa were also affected by the rainstorm.
