STAR OIL Ghana Limited, a leading oil company in Ghana, has launched a new fuel mobile dispenser to deliver fuel at the doorsteps of customers.

The mobile fuel dispenser, a traditional fuel tanker which has all the features of a filing station, will be used to deliver fuel to customers.

The dispenser has a gauge to verify the level of fuel whenever a purchaser is in doubt.

Awuku Larbi, Marketing Manager of Star Oil, commenting on the product during its launch recently, said the mobile fuel dispenser was specifically targeted at companies who buy fuel in very large amounts. These companies often face delays when transporting the commodity.

He said it would benefit telecommunication companies who also buy fuel in bulk for supply to their mast sites.

“The fuel dispenser comes with invaluable benefits to save time and invest into other pressing demands in today’s fasting paced world, making fuel accessible to project site and to inject efficiency into fuel budget of bulk consumers by minimizing incidents of under invoicing other fidelity challenges,” he said.

Kwaku Duah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMN), urged the company consider safety, environmental and health issues.

The Chairman of the occasion, Yacub  Adzagey called on Star Oil to focus on other products like kerosene and petrol and move to rural areas to deliver services to rural inhabitants because most of them find it difficult to buy fuel, especially kerosene .
