Adwoa Amponsaah, a twenty three year old student at Babiani in the Western Region has been cured of her life threatening disease, HIV/AIDs after visiting Dr Boadi Herbal Clinic at Agona in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region for treatment.

Addressing the media at a briefing, the girl explained that she only got to know of having the disease when a friend gave her an oral HIV test.

“When I did the test, I tested Positive to the HIV but I cannot stand to believe the story,” she stated.

She added that, she was watching Adom TV where she saw the Herbalist explaining his medication for the cure of HIV.

“I picked the number and called him and he directed me to come to his Clinic at Agona but I should make sure that I bring a Laboratory test that testify that I have the virus else he will not give me any medication,’ she said.

She had a laboratory test from Care Laboratory at Kwadaso- Ohwimase on 5th December 2011 with the Lab No CLK9012/11 as her evidence.

She made it known that, she was witnessing some symptoms such as headache, fever, cough among others but when started receiving medication from this Herbal Center the situation got to the minimum until she could feel normal.

She confirmed that after about four months of receiving treatment from the herbalist, she was cured as another laboratory test dated 4/05/12 from the Mediscience Laboratory at Bantama confirm to that.

She has therefore thumbed up and accredited the Herbalist thereby calling on the general public and those living with the virus to come to Dr Boadi Herbal Center for cure.

Nana Boadi Mensah affirmed that the traditional method of using herbs to treat all kinds of diseases is the best and most accurate as compared to the orthodox method.

He said this case is not the first instance but that he has healed many people of different diseases who do visit his clinic.

He pleaded on the government to create a conducive working environment for herbalists to operate their businesses and treat all sort of chronic diseases.

According to him, the construction of an ultra-modern herbal hospital, which will recruit herbal practitioners who will treat people with various diseases, will be a better investment.
