Some aggrieved former soldiers on Thursday morning picketed at parliament house to present a petition to parliament demanding full payment of their gratuity.

According to their spokesperson, WOI Joseph Teye, documents in their possession indicate that the Government through the Ministry of Finance has released the money to the Ministry of Defence but they are yet to receive payment.

Meanwhile, the former soldiers have cautioned against politicization of the issue because it has nothing to do with government.
