Ali Ahmed Shiboli

Visiting Coastal Union handed Mtibwa Sugar their second back to back defeat since the second half of the season kicked off as they cruised into a lone goal victory at the Manungu Stadium in Morogoro yesterday. It was former Simba striker Ali Ahmed Shiboli who sent shivers into the home side five minutes to half time.

The goal that earlier looked not to trouble the home side proved decisive as the visitors stood firm to defend their lead.

This is Mtibwa’s second loss after Oljoro JKT also notched similar margin of victory last week when the Mainland premiership resumed.

It was the only premiership match of the 15th round played yesterday as a match between Azam and Moro United has been rescheduled for today at the Chamazi Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
