Shakira is ‘quite proud’ of her butt and her post pregnancy figure since giving birth to her first child, son Milan, in January.


The ‘She Wolf’ hitmaker, who gave birth to her first son, Milan, in January with her FC Barcelona star boyfriend Gerard Pique, worked out throughout her pregnancy and is thrilled with her post-pregnancy body.

The 36-year-old Colombian singer told the September issue of SELF magazine: “I did Zumba throughout my pregnancy. That helped me not gain too much weight.”

The singer spent one week working out intensively with Zumba creator Beto Perez after she gave birth and also worked out four to five times a week alone over the past few months to help her get her curves and her famous abs back in shape.

She said: “Two minutes of ab work isn’t enough. I’m quite proud of my rear.”

The blonde beauty also stuck to a healthy diet and ate eight small meals a day that were between 200 and 250 calories each but wasn’t obsessed with getting her old body back.

She said: “I don’t obsess over my flaws, because I see my body as a whole. Besides, I think men appreciate confidence more than perfection.”
