The Next Movie Star Africa season 9

The Next Movie Star Africa season 9 registration in now available online. The show which is tagged ?THE NEXT MOVIE STAR AFRICA RELOADED? with the theme ? call to stardom?, has expanded the scope of its landmark. The show which berthed in Nigeria in 2005 has spread out its wings to 10 countries across the African continent consisting of Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, Sierra Leone, South Africa, The Gambia, Tanzania, Malawi and Uganda. In the process it has launched the entertainment careers of the likes of Tonto Dikeh, Uti Nwachuku, Adams Ibrahim and Karen Igho.

The Next Movie Star 2007 was won by a Ghanaian, Enoch Hammond. The winners party for the season was held in Ghana and the then president of Ghana and former chairman of ECOWAS President John Kuffour was there to do the prize presentation. Notable Ghanaian stars that have passed through the house of the Next Movie Star Includes Lydia Forson, Martha Ankhoma, Johannes Meir and Solomon Sedinam Agbemenya

This season promises to be most interesting, entertaining and intriguing  than any other season and will be shown on a 24hr basis on a designated TV channel on Startimes digital cable Platform the first time in the history of the show and Variety Channel also on Startimes, while still maintaining its 1 hr terrestrial broadcast on designated terrestrial television stations in each of the participating countries.
