Young Ghanaian crooner,Agyemang Kofi Offeh known in showbiz circles as Nino, has added his voice to those who have appalled performances at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. To him, one person who disappointed him the most was Sarkodie, someone he has great respect and admiration for.

”I had expected that after Awal and the young girl had performed the prelude, the lights would go off, so that when the lights came on Sarkodie and Afia would be on stage as the two children leave. That would have added some beauty to their performance. What they did was raw. It does not suit people of their kind” ,NINO said.

He said the problem with Ghanaian performers are that they do not put in much into their stage acts. The only thing they are interested in is getting into the studio booths and record.According to him that attitude should change if our artistes want to market themselves well outside the country.

”We are failing to learn and that is what is affecting us as performers.Maybe I would have to advise Charterhouse to also try to make artistes for the music awards do more rehearsals. So we don’t disgrace ourselves before the whole world”, he reiterated.

Meanwhile, Nino whose ”Madamfo Pa” track is enjoying massive airplay on radio and TV has entered into an international contest called Rio +20 Global Youth Music Contest organized by Global Rockstar. Chances are that he may be performing with other artistes from the world over in Brazil. He is also in the studio working on another new single ”Never Say Goodbye”.

Nino promises his fans this song is the true definition of his musical talent. Watch out!
