Fast and raising budding gospel musician, Samuel Ackwerh has confessed that he would love to collaborate with sensational singer Mzvee.
Speaking to Lisa Baakope on Shadow radio’s finest Sunday show, #Unscripted he stated that Mzvee is a great artiste with a perfect voice in singing.
“Mzvee has a nice voice that wows everyone who hears her singing. I just love her voice and will love to collaborate with her on a reggae song I have”.
Samuel Ackwerh is an up and coming Gospel musician who has great songs like “Glory”, “Mala” and what have you on his latest music album “Mala”.
Speaking about his profession, Samuel Ackwerh lamented that all Ghanaians should earnestly expect to be blessed by within the next few days and the years to come.
“My singing ministry commenced twenty-two (22) years ago and by the grace of God I have developed myself within this ministry over these past years.
My genre of music include high life, reggae, contemporary praise and afro gospel. I am actually currently working at mastering the afro gospel genre of music in Ghana because that is where my passion lies.
For now most of my ministrations are done in various churches. I have also had the opportunity to minister outside the church setting. Some of these places include The National Theatre and the Accra International Conference Centre. Again I have done some live worship sessions on radio stations such as Atinka Fm and Peace Fm. All of these ministrations had a great impact on the audience/listeners”.
Continuing, he commented on a question asked on how the Ghanaian Gospel music is helping the up and coming artistes, Samuel stated that the industry has developed but needs to work more in supporting new talents.
He added that there are wrong doings however in the industry by “big” artistes to other new talents.
“I want to say that there are some big artistes who pay DJs in Ghana here not to pay some artistes tracks on air, they are doing so much evil to their colleagues which not even “circular” musicians will not do”.
“its heart breaking and I pray God help us “ he ended.
