Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri joined Turkish side Antalyaspor on a two-year contract, the two clubs announced on Monday.

The 30-year-old moved to City from Arsenal in 2011 and helped the club win two Premier League titles and two league cups.

After spending last season on loan at Sevilla, he was part of City’s pre-season tour of the United States but was left out of Pep Guardiola’s squad for the season-opening game at Brighton.

“A big chapter of my life just came to a end,” Nasri said on Twitter.

“I want thank every single person I worked with during my time at Man City, thank you.”
