Thousands of Muslims and non-Muslims alike turned up on the Nima Highway last Sunday, to celebrate the end of the Ramadan.

The project attracted support from the Ayawaso Council of Muslim Chiefs and has grown into a major festival among the youth of the faith.

This year?s event drew participants from other nearby countries and was characterized by a procession which lasted about two hours with chiefs horseback-riding and traditional drummers in attendance.
