Phillip Wokorach kicked in three penalties to account for Buffaloes’ nine points.Buffaloes that had in the previous encounters denied giants Heathens and Pirates bonus point victories were visibly a rejuvenated team from the one which Kobs whipped 39-3 last season.Kobs captain Brian Odong credited Buffaloes for the challenge.“It was a tight game. We knew Buffaloes were young and fast so we kept the game short. We played some good rugby in the second half. We thank the fans for the support and I appeal them to continue turning for our games,” Odong remarked in a post-match interview. Odong hailed Kobs 21-year-old Joseph Aredo who picked up a man-of-the match award.Kobs top the table with 20 points from four games while chasing pack including Heathens and Pirates are to play their games on Saturday.
