Royal Faith team leads Zone D Southern B third tier league

Royal Faith Opens Third Tier League With Win Over Volta Sea

A brace from midfielder Destiny Nonnin helped Royal Faith get off the board with a win in the Ghana third tier league.

The Dodze-based side secured a 3-1 won over Volta Sea in Zone D of the Southern Sector B league in the Volta Region.

The win aided by Nonnin?s brace and another from Wisdom Atsiavor sees Royal Faith move to the summit of the standings.

The opening win of the season excites chairman Felix Fiatusey Bedi who said: ?I am elated at the winning start to their campaign.

?We played a good game and I?m happy with our performance. We are hoping to build on it and qualify to the next stage of the league.?

Future Stars and Pacquah FC settled for a barren draw in the other Zone D game played in Wudoaba ? leaving Royal Faith in the clear to top the standings.

They next travel to Hevi to face Paquah FC on Thursday.
