Reverend B. Boakye Acheampong,

He said Ghanaians will be doing a disservice to the nation if they do not allow the teachings of Jesus Christ to reflect in their daily lives.

Rev Acheampong was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra.

He said the situation where some Ghanaians approached their work with lackadaisical attitude, did not augur well for national development.

??Christ stood for hard work, unity and peace, and that His followers must emulate and trust Him for His divine power to shine over them,?? he said.

He attributed some of the country?s woes to Ghanaians mad rush for monetary gains, instead of seeking their spiritual development.

The Accra East Regional Overseer said Easter was a time of sacrifice, and that Ghanaians should also sacrifice and die a little for the nation.

He appealed to Ghanaians to take keen interest in the National Sanitation Exercise, to ensure that the country was rid of filth.
