The Greater Accra Regional Director of Education, Dr Peter Attafuah, has lauded the smooth take-off of the enrolment of students under the Free Education of Policy at the Achimota Senior High School.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at the School’s Campus in Accra, on Monday, Dr Attafuah hailed the Headmistress with the School’s Authorities for putting in place good measures to ensure the smooth start of the academic year, declaring that: “Things are ok with Achimota School”.

Dr Attafuah, who is monitoring the admission processes, at the various senior high schools in the Region, said: “So far, so good”.
A number of parents the GNA spoke to expressed gratitude to the Government for the Free Education Policy.
Mrs Tina Anwti said: “Everything is ok with us; No payment of any sort”.

Mr Kofi Nat, a guardian said: “The process is very smooth. No stress. No payment”.
