Regent University College of Science and Technology has recognized the efforts of 442 students and conferred various degrees upon students who by all standards have distinguished themselves in various fields of study and in character.

247 Studentshave graduated from the school of Business and Leadership, 147 students from School of Informatics,Engineering and Technology, and 21 Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

The founder and President of the University, Professor Emmanuel Kingsley Kwabena Larbi said the school has determined to preparing and equipping their students to fully take up their rightful roles as responsible citizens wherever they find themselves.

According to the Founder, Regent University College of Science and Technology has placed strong emphasis on theory and practice and on character formation aiming at producing well rounded graduates with strong ethical background.

During the 7th graduation ceremony, he therefore urged the graduands to make use of the power embossed in their hands to create the kind of life they want to live, and also help create the kind of world, and a kind of nation they want to see.

?Our resources have not always been honestly, fairly, and equitably distributed.? Those employed to manage our state institutions, and our collective resources, have not always been at their best,? he stated.

He urged them to become vessels of change in the country because the nation is in urgent need of selfless, dedicated, visionary, result-driven, God-fearing ethical leaders.

The founder enumeratedtheir vision of becoming a fully chartered, world class university within the shortest possible time, remains constant and focused.

Meanwhile, they have continued to double efforts in three main areas during the year to the construction of a purpose-built, Accra main campus, located at the McCarthy Hill.

Also, the recruitment of highly qualified academic staff under full time, adjunct and visiting professorship arrangement and the building of academic partnerships and linkages to increase their capacity.

 

The Head of Communications at the Regent University College of Science and Technology, Emmanuel Ato Silva Quaye added the school has trained the students to go change the status quo in order to bring change and excellence in the country.

He noted majority of their graduants get job placements before they finally gruaduate through arrangement services by the institution.

The Head of Communications however added that the academic set up lays much emphasis on innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity to inculcate the enterprising spirits in the students to become future pacesetters.
