Real come into the match as clear favorites. Ronaldo, who whipped in a stunning strike at Stadio Olympico two weeks ago, are in great form lately. The Portuguese would start with James Rodriguez up front.

But the busiest man of the Real squad happens to be Keylor Navas. The Costa Rican keeper rushes out early on, trying to shield his goal against Edin Dzeko who shoots wide of the post.

Ronaldo would turn provider four minutes later. He releases Rodriguez cutting into the area. The Colombian star beats the keeper with a low shot. Real hold on to win it 2-0.,The Spanish powerhouse advance to the last eight with a 4-0 aggregate score.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg beat Belgium’s Gent 1-0 and the Bundesliga side advanced to the quarter-finals 4-2 on aggregate. Real finished off Roma after being knocked out by another Italian club, Juventus in the semi-finals last year.

Here’s a look at upcoming second leg fixtures as Zenit Saint Petersburg will host Benfica after losing 1-0 in Portugal in the first leg. The marquee match-up of the day will be Chelsea against Paris Saint Germain. PSG won 2-1 in the first leg at home, while the London club need a 1-0 victory to advance at the Stamford Bridge.
