The central midfielder will play his first match for his new club on Sunday

Nigerian international midfielder, Raheem Lawal, will make his Turkish second division debut for new club, Adana Demirspor, against Denizlispor on Sunday.

Lawal told reporters that he is happy to debut for Adana Demirspor after a temporary delay.

“I am happy that I?m free to play football again. On Sunday, I will play my first game for my new club Adana Demirspor… I will do my best to see that we come out victorious at the end of the game,” he said.

The 22-year-old signed a two-year deal with Adana Demirspor without his former Spanish team’s consent. However, it was discovered that Atletico Baleares owe him money, so he was cleared by world football governing body, FIFA.
