We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy for you, friends and family and all stakeholders on the loss of the 147 students and victims at Garissa University College during the recent terrorist attack. We were very saddened to hear and wholeheartedly follow the catastrophic news that Al-Shabaab has rained in Kenya.
We are the Private Universities Students? Association of Ghana (PUSAG) with a membership of over 40 private universities with student population of about 50,000 and we have every student in the world especially this continent at heart.
We, PUSAG, condemn the grisly and dastardly attack, heavy gunfire and explosions for hours at Garissa University College on Thursday 2nd April, 2015. We feel very incomplete for losing a significant number of transformational students who would join the ship for Africa?s success and development few years to come.
While there are no quantum of expressions of words to ease your pain, please note that our prayers are with you.
Don?t hesitate to let the National Executive Council of PUSAG know of any support needed to assist in this time.
May the departed souls rest in perfect eternal peace.
We, the over 100,000 students and the alumni of the private universities and all stakeholders in Ghana sympathize with the family, relatives and victims of this incident and pray to enable you bear the irreparable loss with patience and resilience.
