Pastor Enoch Ofori Junior

In the wake of the challenges governments are usually confronted with over the years in Ghana, particularly in the area of jobs, the head Pastor of the Association of 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr, has urged the NPP government to put in place concrete policies through a concerted efforts with all stake holders that will ensure more jobs for Ghanaians to make a living.

Pastor Ofori Junr indicated that, the youth of the country can no longer wait while their strengths wastes away as the day goes by, amidst unavailability of jobs.

He was speaking at a 3-day end of year Holly Convocation of the church in remembrance of the 10th anniversary celebration of the demise of the late founder Apostle Enoch Ofori Snr and his legacies, at the campus of Kumasi High School in Gyinyase from 28th – 31st December, 2017.

Pastor Ofori Jnr, cautioned the NPP government that, it was upon the promises of job creation that the youth voted the party into power, therefore, in the absence of progress in the life of the youth and masses of Ghanaians, it would go a long way to cost the government in the near future if measures are not taken to create more jobs in the country.

He also charged the government to tackle the issue of corruption menace in the country with much determination, thus, it’s one of the reasons why the people of Ghana queued to vote for the NPP in the 2016 general elections. Adding that, Ghanaians would be much at ease with the government when the scanty resources meant for national development are disbursed as such.

At the glorious 10th anniversary sermon dubbed ‘Standing On The Level of Miracles’ a Commemorative Edition In Memory of the late Apostle, Elder Enoch Ofori Snr, the leader, Pastor Ofori Jnr. enumerated some of the achievement of the late founder, like his teachings that brought to light that, we are the through remnants of God thus, all our customs and traditions indicates that we emanated from Israel.

The facilitation of a national mobilization agenda that generated the public will, for organic farming, trained and empowered numerous evangelists to propagate the word of God, as well as supported and empowered the members to lead an independent meaningful lives and contribute in order to contribute to national development.

He further indicated that, despite some of the successes chalked by the late Apostle, he had established over 60 branches of the Church across the country.

Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr. added that, the Church is committed to ensuring that, the lives of people are transformed through guidance of God’s word and prayer which serves as the umbilical cord of the Church and as well to continue with projects that brings relief to the society.

He also mentioned that, the constriction of homes for the needy, the establishment of learning centers as well as the establishment of support schemes for the vulnerable in the society, are all plans by the church to empower the Ghanaians.

“The Church recognizes government alone cannot deal with the challenges confronting the country, so on the basis that, the Church’s founder preached about the need for people to work and live responsible lives for the development of the country,” he noted.

Meanwhile, Deacon Joseph Kofi Appiah, a veteran broadcaster and morning show host at Boss Fm in Kumasi, also launched the 7th Day Pentecostal Church’s Online-radio, and mentioned the commitment of the Church to continue to walk in the teachings of its founder and also propagate same to the Ghanaian populace.
