President Addo Makes Sir John CEO of Forestry Commission

The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed the former General Secretary of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly called Sir John as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Forestry Commission (GFC).

Sir John who takes over from Mr. Samuel Afari Dartey was previously tipped to head the Ghana Ports and Harbours.

He and some members of NPP are purported to have complained that he was sidelined by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
