Akinjide says divine intervention can bring an end to the challenges being faced in the country

Minister of State for FCT, Olajumoke Akinjide

The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Olajumoke Akinjide, has urged Christian pilgrims from Nigeria, who will be going on the holy pilgrimage to Jerusalem, to pray for divine solution to the security challenges the country is experiencing.

Addressing the pilgrims from Oyo State, who are being sponsored by the FCT, Akinjide told them their prayers could bring about divine solution to the challenges being faced by the government and the country as a whole, especially the Boko Haram attacks.

According to her, the intending pilgrims should join hands with the President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration?s efforts at moving the country forward, by praying fervently for a divine intervention during their sojourn in Jerusalem.

“With prayers and commitment of Nigerians, the much sought solution for the various security challenges facing Nigeria  as a country will surely come,” Akinjide said, advising them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria throughout their stay in the Holyland.

?I also want to caution that it is against the rules and regulations for any of the intending pilgrims to defect while in the Holyland, so I urge you people to go, and return back to the country after the pilgrimage.”
