Viewers who had tuned in to the ITV News at 6.30pm on Sunday were watching the latest update on the Eurostar delays and cancellations at St Pancras station, when they noticed a pedestrian being knocked off his feet by a motorbike in the back of the shot.

The pedestrian appeared to be trying to cross the road outside the station when he was hit by the motorcycle.

Shocked passers-by could be heard exclaiming before rushing to help both the pedestrian and cyclist.

Viewers expressed their concern on Twitter, but reporter Ria Chatterjee later assured them that all was well.

?The pedestrian and motorcyclist who collided during my live broadcast at St Pancras Stn are both fine,? she tweeted.

ITN?s head of press and PR, Laura Brander, added: ?Thankfully the pedestrian & motorcyclist who collided live on @itvnews outside St Pancras are both fine, says our reporter.?
