The Headmistress of All Saints Academy Preparatory School in the Suhum Municipality in the Eastern Region Mad. Mary Sarpong in an exclusive interview with The Moment cautioned parents to invest more in their wards.

She called on them to ensure that they put the priority of their wards first before anything else, especially their education and health, for the youths of today are the future leaders of the country.

According to her, since education is the bedrock of the country, there is the need for parents to cater for the needs of the child in school by buying them learning materials, paying of school fees, feeding fees among others.

She noted that All Saints Academy Preparatory School was established in 1996 with five kids and three teachers but currently the school is having fifty children and four teachers.

Their aim was to help the young children in their early stage of education and give them a brighter future.

Mad. Mary Sarpong continued by indicating that most of the parents are single parents who find it difficult to cater for their wards, appealing with the government to support the private schools in diverse ways for the betterment of the country.
