The National Paralympic Team is preparing for the upcoming Paralympic Games in London has commenced a national Pre-Games Training in Bedfordshire an hour and half drive from London under the tutelage of the National Paralympic committee, until the GamesNational Paralympic Team Village on the 23rd?August, 2012.

Two seasoned coaches Shaaban Mohammed and George Ekem Ferguson took over the team in their preparations last week ahead of their engagements. The athletes are currently undergoing strict training schedules inside Bedfordshire.
They are expected to be taken through strict dietary intake, strict medical observations, and disciplinary mental focus towards the games.
Team Ghana comprises Alem Mumuni who is for the first time exploring in the C2 category on such a high level, Anita Fordjour?wheelchair athletics (T53 category), Botsyo Nkegbe?wheelchair athletics (T54 category) and team captain as well as celebrated power lifter Charles Narh Teye ? 67.50kg.
The National Paralympic Committee is full of praise for the team and believes with such adequate preparations Ghana would excel.
The Paralympic Games will feature over 22 sporting disciplines including: Archery, Athletics, Boccia, Cycling track, Cycling, Equestrian, Football 5-A ?side,
Football 7-A-SIDE, Goalball, Judo, Powerlifting, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball-sitting, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Tennis.
The media would be updated concurrently on all developing issues at the national camping in Bedfordshire, London.
