The move will be through the PAGE Program.

America?s Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker announced the initiative when she visited the Meltwater entrepreneurial school of technology (Mest) in Accra, Ghana.

The PAGE program was initiated by President Obama.

The goal of the program is to develop and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in America and across the world.

The program seeks to encourage start ups across the world to grow and create jobs and provides access to capital, networking, mentorship, training and education among others.

According to Penny Pritzker the initiative will help in the creation of jobs across the world.

?Global growth is what we need, we want to see more of our youth starting businesses we know in the United States twenty percent of US job creation comes from start ? ups so we know if we can help encourage start ups across the world that can help with job creation around the world?.

She adds Ghana?s promising statistics on entrepreneurship led to the PAGE group and the trade mission?s visit to Ghana.

?We also know that Ghana is doing a lot to encourage new startups, according to the council on Africa Ghana has very favorable rankings when it comes to entrepreneurship and Ghana is showing very promising and impressive statistics so that is why we wanted to bring our PAGE ambassadors and our trade mission to Ghana?.
