One hundred and fifty-seven circuit supervisors of the Ghana Education Service and teachers from some schools in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality have received laptop computers from the Government.

The Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Mrs Emelia Ankomah who presented the computers, said it was the President John Dramani Mahama?s vision to achieve improved access and quality of education.

She said de had therefore decided to resource teachers to ensure quality teaching and learning in the classroom.

Mrs. Ankomah said the President had put much premium on raising the standard of education in the country, hence his decision for donating the computers to them under the Better Ghana Agenda Laptop Computers project.
