One of Ghana?s contemporary highlife greats Ofori Amponsah is about to make a historical comeback to the music scene after a 5year long hiatus. The iconic love-soothing crooner who dropped his mic for another, from a music man to a ?man? of God has suddenly announced he is ready to do music again.

Despite his intentions to return to the field as a musician, Ofori AMponsah who is widely known for classic hits like ?Otoolege? indicated he is doing something different this time around.

In a conversation with source the highlife veteran says although he is coming back to do highlife, his songs will have a different meaning. His new songs will be more based on inspirational love themes, which will propel people towards the love of God.

The management of the award-winning singer further expressed the direction upon which the all for real singer intends to take his music. ??We all know God stands for love as such Ofori Amponsah will use his new music to win souls for Christ??.

Other revelations confirmed Ofori Amponsah has already recorded three songs in Germany with one of highlife genius producers Bodo Staiger who was behind Daddy Lumba?s ?Yen Tie Obiaa?.

He is also looking forward to working with international acts like Nigeria?s super singer Flavour and one of Africa?s new music sensations Diamond Platinuz from Tanzania.
